Universal Document Converter 2.5 Description: Universal Document Converter allows you to convert any document (created in program with printing support) into a graphic file in popular format. Thus you can transfer files with one computer to another or send by e-mail and open it with simple graphics viewer. The main advantage is that you can open document without the program in which it was created. Universal Document Converter is managed by Windows as an ordinary printer. It saves into BMP, GIF, JPEG, TIFF, PCX, DCX graphic files formats. How to use Universal Document Converter. UDC is managed by Windows as an ordinary printer. That means that after you install the program, you wouldn't see *.exe file you can launch. Instead of this you'll find a new printer called Universal Document Converter in you printers folder. Then using it is very simple - in any program with printing support press print button and select printer Universal Document Converter. Then you can specify image type, dpi and other settings (please refer to Help file for more information on this). The program will save the document as an image in folder you specify. Possible variants of using Universal Document Converter include saving web site from browser as an image; converting from some rare image format into popular format; rasterization of various data - diagrams, drafts, formulas, etc.; converting from non-graphic format into graphic format, e.g. text to image; preparing images for faxes from programs lacking save as image feature; making screenshots of program processing.
