With VirtualDVR a PC can be used as Video Recorder.
The program works as intelligent control software, giving the user the possiblity
to easily automate recording jobs with his or her favorite software.

- able to use BIOS RTC alarm to reactivate the computer for recording
- able to use task scheduler to reactivate the computer
- compfortable programming of jobs
- can be programmed via german EPG TV-Genia
- supports Nextview EPG, xmltv and an DVB based EPG and the
TV-Movie Clickfinder, these EPGs can be updated automatically by VirtualDVR
- very flexible autorecording option
- controls VirtualDub or VirtualVCR using simulated key presses and
mouse actions which are defined in an easy to create script
- recording database which can be updated automatically
- built-in EPG browser
